I do this as a service for other guitarists. I don't want to see a person pay $2000 for a $300 guitar. I make "No" money at this. This is a new web site. Everything about the passion and sometimes obsession for guitars/amp/effects/Etc. Please take a look. It is free and you can join in to become part of what has been needed fora long time. I hope by doing this web site the guitar community will be a little safer to buy from. I have put a lot of hours into this so other guitarists can learn from an old pro. There is a lot of information on the site. This site http://www.crazyaboutguitars.webs.com is "Free" and meant to help with information now and in the future. If you flag this you are only doing a disservice to your fellow musicians. I just added many new pictures of fake Les Paul's. This should give you a heads up on what to look for. The counterfeit guitars are so close to real thing they can fool someone whom has a good back ground in guitar. I some cases you have to put a real one next to a fake to see the differences. They are getting that close.
Also my site is aligning itself with Guitars For Wounded Veterans. This is a real site and a good cause to be associated with. Their site http://www.guitarsforvetsorg/home.html . "One Good Turn" Below are some responses from the site*************** I went and checked out Guitars for Vets and decided to donate a guitar. I sent the email for the donation and even purchased some swag on their site. What great work they're doing... Thanks for aligning with them... A guitar playing former jarhead. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Just wanted to say hello and that i am enjoying the sight. I'm not a weekend warrior, semi-pro, or any of the other persons you mentioned; I'm a novice who wasted over three decades of his life not playing. At 50 I'm trying to make up for lost time. Thanks for the site that doesn't "talk down" to people like me. Again thanks for your dedication to the little guy. ********************************************** • Location: Albuquerque

I WANT TO EXPAND MY GUITAR PLAYING… not spend hours memorizing MODES!posted: October 20, 2009, 11:45 AM

You will not think it is possible, but you can now spend your time playing in DORIAN, PHRYGIAN or LYDIAN modes in minutes; not memorizing them for hours. I can show you how to move my PRIMARY scale around the neck and play in LOCRIAN, IONIAN or MIXOLYDIAN in moments. Any key. Thats right. You do not have to read music or TAB. AEOLIAN is yours in seconds. You don’t have to know a bit of music theory.
Say you sit-in with a piano player that says, “play this solo in A flat Phrygian” --could you do it? Or C sharp Lydian? Now you can. You’ll go right to the correct notes instantly. Write for more info- I can prove it to you without risk of your money. $10.00 and I pay the postage to send it to you. Works for bass, too. There is only ONE fingering pattern to learn. My Modes Method tells you where to place it. Do not pass up this opportunity! This is a way to avoid having to learn music theory. IT DOES WORK!! I am not a scammer; I can prove this. http://www.modesmethod.mysite.com/cgi-bin/blog From Modes Method users: Thanks, i like this approach....and its easy to modify it....later Curtis Honesty is the best policy and it is very rare that people can do business with trust and confidence. I certainly appreciate you for that. take great care and thanks again. --Alex Very impressive way of doing business…. I am looking forward to…using the system….I am an entertainer, work very hard at it and [I am] always looking to improve. You do business like I do….Thanks so much, Lance • Location: Albuquerque

If you play guitar, I can show you how to play modes in just moments!posted: October 16, 2009, 08:30 AM

I devised this method of playing modes in 1986, and have been using it successfully ever since. My Method provides you with the modes below in all keys by just using one fingering position using all strings across the neck. Just count frets and you’re there! This is not a trick--play modes with no theory knowledge, no memorizing note names, no reading music or TAB. Play in all keys the following modes:
LYDIAN IONIAN PHRYGIAN DORIAN AEOLIAN MIXOLYDIAN & LOCRIAN Always hit the right notes, no more clunkers. Works for bass as well. Only ten bucks, shipped. Write for part of the method. This is a short-cut that bypasses around music theory that can save you years of study. Leave those plateaus behind you and open up your playing instantly! Do nott ignore this valuable offer. Write back!! Not a scam; I can prove it. http://www.modesmethod.mysite.com/cgi-bin/blog From Modes Method users: Thanks Dan. It seems to be a neat system. I am working into it in my practice now.--Jeff The more i read and study your little method thingy the more it becomes obvious to me. it's almost embarrassing that you can play for x amount of years and overlook little stuff like that. especially when youre [already] using that [scale] box all the time. but oh well, now i know. (well ive known for a really long time now; now im just aware that i know, haha). anyway though man, i appreciate it. Later- John Honesty, indeed. Never seen that before ever. You got it bro. I can promise to send $15. A little bit of a bonus if youd like. -David just got the info this; looks to be well worth the money and great for you to take the time to show your secrets, I have been playing for 20 years and still learning…this will help!!!
